I can honestly say that I’ve already uber cheaped Link into beating MC before in an argument against some noob, I think Chaos Spartan was present and wouldn’t say anything.
The fight starts, link quickly memorizes MC’s exact location at that point and quickly travels to the temple of time, he places a Foroe’s Wind point in the exact spot MC will be standing in 7 years, he then travels to the water temple, goes into a room that can be sealed off but still on the lowest level. Puts the other Foroe’s Wind point there, raises the water level and viola.
When he travels back forward in time MC will have have been standing on the exact warp point, since the warp points only go one way, MC is trapped inside that room, filled with water, with no means of escape. His oxygen in his suit will run out sooner or later and he’ll drown, Link could easily make it even more nasty by putting the warp point over one of the water temples bottomless pits as well making MC’s demise that much more assured seeing as how there would be no means to escape such a pit.

That would be quite funny, but I really doubt Link could pull this off correctly, and I’m sure this is what you would do if you were controlling him and were possible, but I don’t think Link would. He would see MC as another oddly advanced enemy and face off against him, and then possibly get overwhelmed.

Well, if you go into things that would happen, then MC wouldn’t even mess with Link to start a fight. To Link, MC is going to look like one of Hyrule’s knights so he wouldn’t do anything either.
So this isn’t a game of what would happen, this is a game of what each combatant is capable of, and Link is damn sure capable of doing that.

Second, how is MC gonna end up in the Water Temple?
Third, MC can get out. It’s an old temple. Not exactly the pinnacle of sturdy architecture.
And going above a pit? I’m pretty sure MC can swim, but how is Link gonna put the warp point there without falling in himself?
And finally, what’s going to keep MC from blasting a hole through Link’s head before he has any chance to realize what’s going on?

True, but due to the place being flooded it’s going to take a bit more then muscle to bust down a wall, and even then MC has to navigate through the dungeon, and anybody who’s played OoT knows how fucking hard that is.

I’m talking about one of those straight drops that when you fall you can’t climb back up, you loose a heart and you appear at the start of the room. If it’s a straight drop into a pit then MC wouldn’t be able to swim, his suit weighs over 800 pounds and it’s pure metal, no matter how strong you are, you can’t swim out of there wearing that. He’d have to take the suit off to get out, but then he couldn’t bust through the walls, so he’d still drown.
