I disagree with the CAPS but I unders6and that you are suitably pissed off. I saw you thread abut the deletion of you Lucifer account. I have no idea why you were banned as I wasn’t here. Did you spam or create some other kind of havok. I know when I last spoke to you, you were behaving yourself so unless you did something drastically wrong, i’m afraid I can see why you got banned.
As for locking this topic, I don’t think that is at all appropriate. You make a valid point.
In response, the reason why we tend to lock silly topics lately is simply because they have a habit of multiplying. On person does it, then someone else does it, then other people see it and make one of their own and before we know it, there is a full page of silly topics.
I understand that it may seem fair for someones topic to be deleted, but this wouldn’t be an issue if people stopped mimicing the posting habits of other people IE making a topic cause they saw one like it.
One or two silly topics fine. hell, 3 would be fine, but that never seems to be the case. until this problem rectifies itself, topics will get deleted and people will get upset. It’s just how it is.
Unless you have a idea on how to prevent this sheep like behavior, in which case I would love to hear your ideas and thoughts.

Actually, its the members that should be banned. Every day I spend about a hour cleaning up all the destruction from the previous night from members who think it was fun.
Lucifer I can answer your question. I was the one who banned your account. Reason? You were spamming and I already indicated this .
You went into more than 10 topics and bumped them up with unrelated posts. So the ban was both for the behaviour you’d already exhibited and to prevent further spamming. It’s annoying for members if all they see is a page or so of bumped up topics and their topics getting lost pages down.
In addition to bumping up topics you were going into multiple threads and having “conversations” that were entirely unrelated to the topic.
If getting warned or banned upsets you so much that you have to run all over the forum swearing your head off, just don’t spam in the first place, ok?
Also, this thread in particular gives evidence not only for what you were doing, but what you are also going to try to do:
I will also add that you can only raise up an “old” topic if you have something that is of clear value to contribute. If you bump up multiple topics in rapid succession it is clear that it is with an intent to spam. It won’t matter, then, if you try to fake a post that “sounds” like it fits.
