GTA IV I’m only counting one version because that’s how VGCharts has it.

FF13 has no possible chance. Sorry it just doesn’t.

i guess thts logical but yeah GTA always sold over 10 million so i think its obvious tht GTA IV
will sell over 10 million

Only if you combined both version does it have a chance. But becuase both 360 and PS3 hardware sales arne’t high and because most of the GTA userbase is still with the PS2 sales will suffer.

The PC is still the NUMBER 1 selling “console” for gaming, do you think the comunity who buys their PC for the sole purpose of gaming won’t buy CRYSIS or Spore? Counter Strike sold 18Million units. These two games are much better than it, and Spore will attract another audience aswell.

I have no way of knowing PC game sales so PC software that has a chance of going over 10 million is not a part of this.

Because the game is heavily a Japanese title. And because it’s on the PS3. And because no FF title has ever sold 10 million before it.

Whoa, hold on now. You care to back that claim up? Because I know of at least one that did. In fact it sold 2.4 million on it’s opening weekend... in Japan alone and it was bigger in America than it was in Japan.

Well looking at VGCHarts the best saling FF game was the 7th one which hit 9.72 million. And since then no FF game has been around that. So yea I’m pretty positive seeing tha tthe PS3 fanbase was nowhere near as large as the PS ones, and FFVII was the premiere game on the PS, while FFXIII isn’t the premier game on the PS3. So yea I can say positively that FFXIII wont' sale 10 million copies.

Final Fantasy VII broke 10 million in 2005. Advent Children Forums had a big celebration over it because it was the highest selling Final Fantasy. So I know that for a fact, regardless of what VG Charts may say.

As for Final Fantasy XIII, it could very well sell 10 million if the install base for the PS3 gets bigger. The reason I say that with such certainty is because of how much attention the Final Fantasy series has been receiving within the last few months. The Compilation of Final Fantasy VII has been garnering much attention in the gaming world because of the fact that VII was so popular. Not to mention that XIII has it’s own compilation, Fabula Nova Cyrstalis, which is giving it even more attention from fans all over the planet.

Final Fantasy XIII is a HIGHLY anticipated game, probably the most on the Playstation 3, Famitsu shows that on it’s “Famitsu’s Most Wanted” lists, which you can see every month on Go Nintendo, the latest has XII placed as number 2, above EVERY other game on your list of titles expected to hit 10 million.

Famitsu is not a veyr trustworthy adversary for how a game will sale. I mean Blue Dragon was on there at once haha. But it’s a very hardcore magazine meaning you’ll get what the hardcore gamers want. Which is why it’s at the top. But remember hardware sales is goign to limit it’s sales dramatically.

By 2006 there were 24million Xbox’s sold... there’s only 11 Million 360s sold atm.
