Fool. Sonic uses his speed as a weapon and defense. He has time altering abilities and powerful attacks that make metal look like cardboard or cheap plywood.

catch things on fire
summon powerful creatures to attack for him like Dragons and the fabled Night of the Round Table
create thunderbolts
warp gravity
poison people
create tornadoes, solar flares, blizzards, and throw giant rocks.
create earthquakes
manipulate anybody’s mind
speed himself up dramatically
Jump further then any human should
lift and swing around a 200 pound sword with no effort

Sonic’s beaten demi gods(Iblis and Chaos are demi Gods, and several other foes are on par with demi gods). Hell on two occasions we could take out the demi part. (Solaris and Alf Layla-wa Layla)
