As proven in Twilight Princess, holy magic doesn’t hurt him, it just stuns him momentarily. And also, he’s a Wizard, if his magic was limited to he and his own creations then he wouldn’t be very powerful. And I wouldn’t see how magic would work only upon himself or his pawns.

Notice how under Magic Sword it says refer to Master Sword
The sword only doubles as the key to the sacred realm, it’s primary function is, always has been, and always will be to repel evil.

Except it was silver arrowes that killed him in LoZ, not the magic/master sword. Also, evil cant touch it beacuse it is a key to the sacred relm, and the sages did not want evil geting hold of the trifroce. | |

Holy magic from Fire emblem is used to counter the magic of Dark, and the Legendary Holy magic known as Aureola, which was given to them by the Gods. In my opinion, Holy magic given from the gods has the same power as a Holy sword given from the Gods. Both counter the same dark users of magic and evil. | |
