Anybody know much about androstenedione?
I’m considering adding it to my training supplement with Creatine. These are not Steroids and are considered a natural supplement and completely legal. However, I hear androstenedione is the closest thing to steroids you can get.
Do you think I’m taking it too far with the addition drug?

Well I’ve been taking Creatine for around 3 weeks now and the first week I noticed a dramatic increase in strength training and endurance. However, in the 3rd week I feel like it’s leveled off and I’m not gaining to the next step.

Yeah, same with my friend. How much Creatine do you take?
You know, I’m not even really sure because the creatine supplement I bought was a powder called NO-Xtreme (Nitric Oxide Xtreme) which is a proprietary blend of Creatine Monohydrate, Caffeine, and some other crap I don’t understand but it doesn’t give me the exact amount of Creatine per serving. All it says is 200+ Pounds take 2-1/2 scoops which I’m @ 215 right now and lately I’ve been nearly doubling my dosage to 5 scoops throughout the day.
Here’s the stuff I’m taking now. Creatine and Whey Protien.

Ah. My friend (and one dose for me) takes just regular Creatine. He takes 10g a day I think. I’ve seen that stuff, though. But I don’t know anything about it. My suggestion is to stick with that stuff and just slowly increase how much you lift. Works for my friend, he’s up to benching 135 lbs compared to 80 when he started.

How old is he?

15 going on 16.
Is he ripped because maybe that’s what it does. I never took that that stuff when I was 15 and I lifted about 145.

He’s getting ripped. He only started lifting a few weeks ago.
Not bad I guess. I’m really not sure though because I the very first time you lift you won’t be able to lift much, partly because you need to learn how to balance the bar, and then you can suddenly lift a lot. From there it sort of levels out and you need to actually start lifting.

Is this stuff like extra supplements like vitamins and minerals, sort of like the protein powder you use in your drinks?
If so it probably means you just need to lift more since it can’t act on its own.
Kinda. Creatine gets energy to your muscles faster, helping to heal faster and therefore build faster.
Basically what Creatine does is it Increases blood flow while rapidly moving nutrients in and waste products out of muscles.
It promotes muscle force reproduction for better and stronger workouts.
It promotes recovery / anti-catabolic - decreasing stresses from exercise (You won’t be sore at all the next day no matter how hard you workout).
Enhances nitric Oxide to help feel the muscle pump.
Reduces lactic acid levels.
And improves workout focus and training capacity.
It’s NOT just a bunch of vitamins and irons. It really does improve your strength and focus. I’m benching 320, squat 400 and curl 180. However, I, and many other opinions don’t recommend kids under 18 years old take Creatine until their muscles have fully matured.
