Anybody know much about androstenedione?
I’m considering adding it to my training supplement with Creatine. These are not Steroids and are considered a natural supplement and completely legal. However, I hear androstenedione is the closest thing to steroids you can get.
Do you think I’m taking it too far with the addition drug?
ewwww....don’t take any sorta drug.....
I’m sorry, but that post makes me wonder if you’ve read everything.
Don’t be thinking of it as a “drug” as in steroids or anything.
It’s more of a... dietary supplement if you want to compare it to anything.

Well, Creatine is something your body produces naturally. The creatine supplement just enhances it.

It’s for males who do not have the ability to produce testosterone.

It’s right, what has been said, it’s not an actual steroid - just an enhancment to the bodies own reactions and chemicals.
But, because it is not a steroid, it does have the limitations of the users metabolism. A steroid goes beyond that, and although fast and obvious, it can cause dangerous 'pushes' to unseen parts of the bodies chemistry and structure.
Unlike in fiction, where magical liquids cause growth such as in the 'hulk' stories/film, in reality, the body is bound by its own specific limits for that individual, thereby makin a max weight lift of 80, 400 or whatever - the Creatine + good/managed excerise just gets us there faster
I agree totally with the warning about being under 18. The actual age varies a lot, but the idea of the age limit is that your body is changing, and arranging itself, both physically and chemically. A younger persons body can seem to develop extremely quickly, but that is just natural if excercised (and pushed) anyway. The use of chemicals on younger people (unless carefully supervised) 'can' cause imbalances in the future. Rare, but that’s the chance eh?
With the use of enhancments like Creatine, you can reach the individual persons maximum performance, but as you approach the limit, so the growth 'has to' slow - it’s not possible for everybody to lift what another can regardless of the enhanements used, i can do all kinds of workouts, but my bodies natural chemistry keeps me as i am. Where-as my brothers are both huge, and one is so solid it’s crazy, yet he never needs to work out
i guess i drew the short straw eh?
Creatine will allow your body to make extremely good use of its own capabilities, but, the exercise routines do still need to be managed carefully. Just pushing the body to the max can easily cause chemical imbalances and the idea of easily pushing further, and as lots of lifters find out, you lift too much too fast, and the weak link in the chain suddenly gives, and you don’t lift again or at the least, you have an injury waiting to happen.
Interestin topic
(unfortunatly i haven’t heard of the original chemical type 'androstenedione')

No, creatine has nothing to do with testosterone reproduction. I believe you’re referring to Steroids.
