Why wont they make an FF7 remake...its asmart move???

At the Square Enix Party they had a bulletin board where people got to request the FF game they’d like most to be remade, and FF7 won that contest by a landslide. So don’t loose hope, and if you ever get the chance to bug SE, then do it.

Nah, they’d ban Grand Theft Auto before they stopped a remake of FF7 because of that. Besides, in Before Crisis, which was released about a year ago in Japan, the original Avalanche plays a major role.

I’m fairly certain that something is in the works, Square Enix claims that they have enough material to keep the compilation going for 10 years. That doesn’t mean that they will, but they certainly have something planned. Remember a while back I introduced a theory about Genesis and Sephiroth being two pieces to a puzzle? It’s probably gonna be something revolving around that. I STILL think that Genesis took Weiss' body to use as a vessel for Sephiroth.

Well, the theory goes back to Crisis Core, Genesis and Sephiroth both have a single black wing on opposite shoulders. Leading one to believe that maybe they’re two beings meant to be one. Imagine if that was true, the perfect body would be one that was created from both of theirs. Weiss possesses both S and G cells, so using his body to house both Sephiroth and Genesis' spirits would be perfect.

Genesis probably knows a lot. It might explain why he went rouge in CC. Sephiroth most likely would have no idea about it.

hmmm i dunno why but i have a feeling Genasis is playing them all, and important events in 7 were all his doing, Last Order DoC plot peices in his little game.

what i really want is someone to step up and hold there own with Seph in an equil battle, so we can finaly see what he is made of.

I doubt Chaos will return, it was destroyed only with Omega at the end of Dirge of Cerberus.

FF7 is the best RPG ever made dude, 10 years after it’s release people are STILL excited about it. It’ll be another 10 years before they forget about it... IF SE doesn’t remake it. If they remake the game, plan on it being popular until you’re 40

If they do anything, it’ll be a direct “game” sequel to Advent Children. If my theory turns out to be correct then we’ll most likely see the return of Angeal, so he’ll be needed to defeat Generoth as well.

If both Genesis and Sephiroth inside of Weiss' body it would take the entire cast of FF7, Angeal, the Turks, Rufus, and probably whatever is left of Soldier to take him down... It would be a massive battle, one that would hopefully happen in pure CGI.
