I’m not saying it will get a higher score, but i am saying it is possible.
The Beta is quite a bit old, i have no doubt that they improved everything (non graphics wise, only gameplay) to higher elevation of awesome.
Plus, Halo 3 will have extended online features that OoT does not have.
And further more, because of the 360’s power, there will be a lot of interactivity, maybe not as much as the Holy Alan Wake, but still grand.
Halo 3 is being built to be a next-gen game to the max, the beta alone passes nearly everything else in graphics, and the MP has received excellent reviews.
But whether it passes OoT is not my choice, but it’s still possible. | |

More than just that. It has to make 56% of reviewers give it 100%. Not only that but it has to make the other 44% give it a 90% or higher. Not only that but only 2/7 of those 44% can be less than 95%. The rest of the 5/7 of that 44% must be 95% or higher.
The only one good thing Halo 3 has going for it is that it will have a lot more reviews than Zelda: OoT did. Zelda OoT had 32. Halo 3 will at least get 100. That can be seen as both a good and a bad thing. The bad thing being it gives it more of a chance of getting it a below 90%. But if it gets one below 90% it really doesn’t deserve to try and takedown Zelda: OoT as out of 32 review it got none below that. We’ll know after the first 32 anyway if Halo 3 has a shot. The good thing about more reviews is if you do get a bad thing you still have a chance of climbing back up cause within a 100 review each better review over the average one will at least give you a .1% increase everytime.
But as you can see this is asking reviewers to agree 56 times that Halo 3 is 100% perfect. Not only that the other 44 reviewers that dont' see it as perfect have to see it as nearly perfect. YOu can’t have one bias reviewer that is counted in anyway say it’s only alright. That’s what happened to Zelda: TP and Halo 2. Had one or 2 people either bias towards the series are wanted to take a stand against the majority that it’s not a good game. This can’t happen. There has to be every single reviewer out there saying this game is either perfect or near perfect. A lot of 90% or 4.5/5’s ain’t going to cut. A 4/5 ain’t going to cut it. Basically about 80% of your reviewrs have to agree that this game is 95% or better.
That’s waht it takes to beat Zelda: OoT. Has to be beyond perfection. Not only that it can’t have anyone disagree that this truly is the greatest game ever made. There are reasons why so many people believe that Zelda: OoT is the greatest game ever made. But this is where I don’t see this happening. 56 guys need to say this is perfect. I just don’t see it happening. And most of the 90% ones are below 95% it has no chance. And if there are 5-6 reviews lesser than 90% it’s got no chance.
What I expect from Halo 3 is about a 93%-94%. Respectable but in no way competitive with OoT.

(back when I got Gears) but the gamestop guy said if i did i would get like a helmet of MC. That was awesome, but it was originally only $100, but then latter it was $130, but i was almost done getting it i just payed it off.
