O.O Guest | i dont believe there will be a pikmin 3 because the way its set out and the fact if they did do one where would they set it? they’ve pretty much been to every kind of exciting corner of designs for that planet so if they were to make another wouldnt it get quite boring and drawn out? So i believe that if they leave it at no2 unless there bringing out a new pikmin race then its a different matter because there would be new species of enemies and new areas only accesible to them.

King of MVC Rep: 26Joined: 20 Dec 2006 Posts: 8,489 OFFLINE | In the good ending for the first Pikmin game the additional ships that were seen flying around were: orange, pink, light blue, green, black, silver, white, and purple
We have seen White and Purple already so we have range, pink, light blue, green, black and silver
Here’s my breakdown of how it should go:
Orange - Are the bulbamin from pikmin three. If you read there description and study there colors on the map it would make sense that bulbamin are the orange colored pikmin. Can be thrown and take over enemies in battle.
Pink - A type of pikmin that could infatuate enemies and make them either confused or stop attacking.
Light blue - might have little wings on them somewhere and be capable of essentially flying.
Green - Be able to communicate with nature. If there are tree’s in the way of captain olimar and his team, these pikmin can speak to them and make them move, or something like that.
Black - Able to be left on the planet after night, there dark color lets them blend in well.
Silver - Can turn invisible to allow safer navigation through certain area’s.

Where the first part of the game is them going to earth and collecting the various types of pikmin, and the second part is them visiting planets like mars and the moon (Maybe the moon could be made out of cheese, who knows?)
