Theres a difference between redneck and southerner.

Rednecks are ignorant, dirty, loud, racist, and just plain stupid white trash.

Southerners are just people born and raised in the South.

I myself was born in an urban neighborhood in South Carolina and have lived there for most of my life until August of 2005 when I moved to Alabama.
