Ive noticed that sometimes I can accidentally report a post by trying to click quote and accidentally hitting report, In my opinion, I believe that the report button should be put under, below, or beside the the posters name, user, tag, posts, and avatar, either way I just believe around the right side,

thats my opinion.

Yeah, you can accidently click report instead of quote.

It’s fine, besides people will know when you hit the report button. Unless you’re an idiot, you can’t report a post thinking that you’re quoting somebody.

But then again, there’s the whole newbie thing... they could have trouble... I would say, put it under the post, but it seems like you’d have to redesign the site a but to do that...

It’s an interface issue. I had a similar problem with the move/delete button being really close together when I was first mod a couple of years back... Fortunately Bjarne fixed that. You can always bring it to Bjarne’s attention (he’s been out... there’s still 7 or 8 pm’s from me last month sitting unread in his mailbox).

Anonymous is the most senior member here, apart from Bjarne. He’s one of the best moderators this website has ever had because he understands Codecs. And its a pity he’s never been to off-topic.
