This is real gameplay footage this time and it seems that they have gotten very close to the Pre Rendred Trailer...

bungie claims they preferred this texture to the old Amazing E3 07 armor texture, probably a cover up for it didn’t run smoothly with all that bump mapped tiny textures.
but yes it still does look fine.
