Oh I always thaught black metal was similar to doom metal. Haha I would like to see the look on that guys face. I don’t know too many black metal bands because I don’t really listen to that genre that much.
(nobody has really showed me any good black metal bands)
Not really, Doom was a rebellion against the speeds of Death.
Black and Death are really very closely linked; it’s only really slight differences in the vocals and message that separate them. There are plenty of bands that started out as Black/Death Metal and shifted towards Death/Black Metal. There’s no competition against the two genres as far as I’m aware. I could be wrong though.
Nope, that’s not me. Although they are a bit faggy these days, and I’m not a massive thrash fan.
F69, just to add to my last post; Death and Black both originated from the same point as an obvious evolution of thrash, and just went their own separate ways. Since they both came about at the same time from the same roots, I can’t see one being a rebellion against the other.
Well, I’ve heard Norwegian black metal has sort of a rivalry with Swedish black metal, and what I meant was, that it was against the nontheatrics of death.Im also not sure about doom, since that’s existed since the mid 70’s (Elctric wizard, St Vitus)

It most likely does. The Black Metal scene is very famously incredibly elitist, and so they tend to stick in close groups. It’s pretty likely there’s rivalry between various countries' scenes.
I’m not sure they were so much against the nontheatrics, as they were for their own theatrics to distinguish themselves from others and feel more elite.
Like I said though, they’re all elitist fucks. It wouldn’t be massively surprising if there was rivalry with other genres, since the BM scene is so self destructive.
that was incredibly stupid, I have much faith in my religion but I can’t stand when people use religion as an excuse to try and destroy things they don’t like
I don’t like metalicca...and they (or he) creeps me out, but I would never go as far as to call him of the devil

Oh my goodness listen to the guys voice, it shuddered my heart to actually think that people listen to this stuff. His voice just tells you that demons are at work in his life. He needs Jesus, and the songs are probably filled with satanic messages and everything.
People that listen to rock need to get saved and find Jesus Christ in their lives.
Because anyone who listens to the devils work is going to hell.
