Isn’t much different from the gay ass rap shit I hear on MTV about bling and hoes and other immature crap like that.
As for Slipknot, I still like them, but I’m just sick of the masks and the idiotic emo fans and stuff. Stone Sour is much better, plus there is a lot of music in the metal genre thats much better.
Oh and Marilyn Manson is just an attention seeker now... his music is ok but not that great. The lyrics are definately better than the music, I will just say that.

As for Slipknot, I think Corey Taylor would be wise by staying with Stone Sour. Stone Sour really isn’t that amazing either but they are at least a little better than Slipknot.

Addict (beyond 1337) Rep: 8Joined: 28 Mar 2006 Posts: 9,238 OFFLINE | Yeah Anthrax is great, i’m a big Thrash Metal fan. Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, and Triviums new album, “The Crusade”, are great examples of Thrash Metal.
Trivium was Thrash Metal before they made an album, and then they tried out Metalcore for two albums, and now their newest album sounds wayyy different than the other two. They sound like Metallica. You should hear Trivium’s version of Master of Puppets, its awesome.

My suggestion are overkill, flotsam and jetsam, kreator, exodus, metal church, dark angel, sepultura, death angel, and testament. Some other good bands are Motorhead, Mercyful fate, Saxon, Venom, King diamond, and gwar.

Yeah all of those bands that you mentioned are great... whenever I say somthing about thrash metal I always mention the big 4. Just so people get the jist of what music i’m into.
But of course I love many different sub genre’s of metal.

Well I probably offended all of the emo’s and ICP fans on this site. I don’t really have anything against emo’s, I just don’t like the ones that are bitches to me at school. Alot of them are just plain annoying.
