The tournament took place today and there were 10 people 4 of my friends came with me and it was much more fun then we had anticpated. I actully came in first, I won the copy of Pkm battle revolution but rather then sell it I gave it to my older brother who would be living on campus this year who would get a dorm and he could play it with his roomates.

Aside from that the matches were pretty good but about 3 people and 1 of my friends used legendaries. It was a great turnout. Now I cannot wait for the MvC clan PBR tournament.

I took part in the PKMN gamestop tournament as well today. I reached the final battle but lost due to my Garchomp(lv.100) missing its attack against my foe’s dialga(lv.100) resulting in me taking the final blow. I indeed up with second place and I was glad to have partaken in the tournament.

It was all over select gamestops around the country.

As for the matches in my area we had the rule of anyone allowed yes even uber legendaries and same hold items but all lvl 50 and single battles.

My team constisted of Manetric, Arcanine, Skeptile, Blastoise, Togekiss, and Metagross. about 4 people there resorted to using uber legendaries. In the third round I went up against a little kid who had all legendaries and an infernape. this was actully a funny battle, he used Rayquaza, Groudon, Infernape, and Alakazam. I just used my blastoise for the first part of the battle. He sent out Alakazam and tried physic but it did not do much to my blastoise since it had very high defenses. I just waterfalled it and it died. Then the kid said I was in for it with rayquaza, I just ice beamed it. When he sent out groudon I thought that he would try a solarbeam but I did somthing no one would expect, I sent out Arcanine and he used fire blast, I got a power boost from flash fire. I kept on using flame thrower on his groundon and he was angry. Finally he used infernape. Since infernape was out I just kept using extreme speed to kill it. The kid was wondering how he lost with legendaires on his team.

OMG, I hate it when kids think they can pwn you with ubers. It gets plain annoying, bleh would have went to the gamestop tournament but it was my brothers party, and I had to battle against my cousin and some random kid.

One of my friends brothers also came with us and he had a team with Manaphy, Lugia, Kyogre, Latios, Mew, and for some reason infernape. I said to him “dude you make me sad." It was not as bad as my first battle though. The guy i fought was a sumg fat guy who thought he was all that. On his team he had a shiny Salamance, shiny Lapras, Garchomp, Tyranitar, Blissy, and Rosearade for some reason. The guy said that this would be no constest when he saw my team of Blastoise, Skeptile, Aracanie, Manectric, Metagross, and Togekiss. I took in Blastoise, Skeptile, Metagross, and Menatric. He took in his Salamence, Garchomp, Lapras, and Tyranitar. When the match started he saw that I sent out Blastoise and he sent out Salamence. He thought I would do the obivious and use ice beam but instead I used Hydro Cannon but that hit him the hard way when he sent out Tyrannitar. Then he sent out Laparas, I kept fighting with blastoise and made it use earthquake but it was no doing much so since he kept using surf until he tried to use thunderbolt, i sent out skeptile and it only suffered a little damage. I used energy ball and the lapras died. Then the guy started saying BS about me since he had only 2 dragons left. He sent out Garchomp and did the most unlikely thing with it, he taught it dragon pulse, Garchomp sucks in special attack and he tried killing my sepktile with it but I just kept using my own dragon pulse. With it dead he only had salamence left and he tried the DD earthquake combo. I let my Skeptile do what it could but it went down after the first dragon dance. I sent out my blastoise and used ice beam on it, the guy would have won the match at that point by attacking but he did another dragon dance instead. After the main tournament my brother got to fight him in the aftermath match, meaning anyone out before round 4 was able to fight for first and get a consitlation prize, it was different at my gamestop though they had this one set up and the winner got a phione egg. My brother went up against the guy and his electivre did all the work it was so funny. The fat nerd went on a rampage and he was complaining that he wanted the PBR copy just to sell it and then the store officals had enough with him and kicked him out. It was so funny this guy thought that he would with using very powerful guys when he did not realize the basic points of battle.
