I personally do not like rap, but I have heard very meaningful rap before. Of course there is rap about being a gangster in the streets killing people and doing drugs (gangster rap) just as much as there is rock about suicide and death (emo rock). But there are much more meaningful sides of the music. The less meaningful are the mainstream crap. (all mainstream sucks)

So if you like rappers like:

You are more ignorant than the rappers that originally posted that. Metal does not scream. Hardcore screams. Metal will either growl, sing raspily, whisper, sing, etc.

I am going with the first one because only a smart person would know that misspelling words does not make you look hardcore.
