Pearl Harbor happened because they though USA was involved ni the War. Afterwards USA attacked them and atomic bombs, yada yada, Japan signed a treaty so that they won’t be ever involving themselevas in war... Anyways come on, they aren’t stupid, they know this gamewas going to be released world wide... You did however say something very true:

If you have been to japan then you should have realized how different they are from us, grown men play Pokemon, and everyone, including all the boys worship those giant Hello Kitty advertisements.
And they bombed Pearl Harbor because we were different, and the biggest threat to them.
and maybe they just figured most of the players would be kids and wouldn’t know what it meant, while people who do know what it means are old enough to understand the concept you are reading right now. ;
