Regular Rep: 0  Joined: 26 Jul 2007 Posts: 366 OFFLINE | ok so we know what the federation will think of samus (a terrorist) but what would you want in metroid v? how would you want it? and if there was a multiplayer how would you want it?
her’s my idea for the multiplayer
Many open areas for up to 18 players other small for like 4 players
Hunter’s view and Trooper’s view
In hunter’s view:
you’d have all the hunters from the previous games and all the weapons samus has come in contac wiht exept the hyper beam (it’d be like a special power up) the hunters would be able to use the ice beam or others along with their default weapon (able to carry 3) and their alt form
refine their body expresions not like in echoes
Trooper’s view:
you play as a trooper or a space pirate special weapons (human like and pirate like about 13-15)
and turrets and the drop off wehicles from echoes
able to manipulate defense turrets
In both special traps like unleash metroids
so what would you add or change you tell me

Just two problems with your theroy. 1 The GF does not think of Samus as a terrorist at the end of fusion she had to destroy the space station to kill the X-parasites and she had her computer Adam to back her up and prove she had good reason for destroying the space station. 2 It would be a side-scrolling metroid game and it would have no multiplayer whatsoever, if it was in 3d then yes it could be it would not because multiplayer in a side-scrolling metroid game would not work as well.

Regular Rep: 0Joined: 26 Jul 2007 Posts: 366 OFFLINE | first of all the federation did not want the station destroyed and the wanted it the SA-X so that is enough reason to coseder her a theath condiering that she destroyed a planet second of all why does it have to side-scroll says you? no i’d prefer it to be 3d and my multiplayer is good not perfect that’s why a posted it to see what’s missing

no, metroid prime is a subseries after Metroid
I know...but it’s still the 5th Metroid game.

No. Metroid Prime is a series on it’s own: Prime 1, 2, 3, and Hunters.
Then there’s Metroid, Metroid 2, Metroid 3/Super Metroid, Metroid 4/Metroid Fusion, and eventually Metroid 5.

No. Metroid Prime is a series on it’s own: Prime 1, 2, 3, and Hunters.

Tyres Guest | I think the next Metroid game will be a sidescroller, and chances are Metroid V will be the last metroid game because in Fusion she blew up the Federation Station and SR388. 1st, the Federation told Samus not to blow up the station, so they’ll probabally have to resign her (even though she has her computer Adam to back her up, as Inferno x stated, she still disobayed orders. And if the Federation is anything like present day armed forces, disobaying orders will not be tolerated). 2nd, when the Fedration Station fell to SR388, it was carrying (as far as we know) the very last Metroids. The only part of a Metroid left can be found in Samus’s DNA. 3nd, Nintendo hinted us with the title of there so called “cancled” game Metroid Dread. The word dread means something really bad happened.
If you put all these reasons togather, you can tell that Metroid V will most likly be the last Metroid game.

Tyres Guest | Agreed. But if Metroid V is the last Metroid game, im going to be PISSED OFF. I’d really like a big twist in Metroid V so the story can live.
