That’s really a moot point car dice. The two main interpretations of what the “unforgivable sin” is are:

1. Consciously refusing to believe in the divinity of Jesus and the Holy Spirit...which athiests would already have done OR

2. Attributing the works of Jesus or the Holy Spirit to the devil. Athiests don’t believe in the devil, so they can hardly do this.

Not that I actually believe in this, but when commenting on the theology of any religion, it’s good to know what you’re referring to.

i think.. that part of the bible.. o.o was written.. to make people to fear god and to fear to think for their own..x.x..o.o and.. <.< should we fear god? i mean.. if he can forgive a mass murder.. o.o shouldn’t he forgive someone for coming to the conclusion that god doesn’t exist? o.o that’s a bit harsh..^^

Haha, what a lot of people don’t realize is that god is a terrorist. I mean, what could be more terroristic than saying, “believe this or burn forever”?

Speaking of belief, why do we so steadily accept that the only thing you have to do to please god is to believe in him? What’s so special about believing? Isn’t he just as likely to reward kindness or humility? Besides, believing isn’t something you can just do. You can’t decide what you believe and mean it. You can say you believe, but that doesn’t mean you do believe.
