Haha, what a lot of people don’t realize is that god is a terrorist. I mean, what could be more terroristic than saying, “believe this or burn forever”?
Speaking of belief, why do we so steadily accept that the only thing you have to do to please god is to believe in him? What’s so special about believing? Isn’t he just as likely to reward kindness or humility? Besides, believing isn’t something you can just do. You can’t decide what you believe and mean it. You can say you believe, but that doesn’t mean you do believe.
god doesnt burn people in hell. i know alot of churches teach that and it pisses me off.
believing in god isnt the only way to please him? who told u that? to please god u have to believe in him, be good, follow him, preach which by the way is no easy task especially wehn theyre people like u who mock religion.

I believe we do have to fear him .. he is God afterall.
Which god?
Well the only one . Just being God .
But yes yes , people believe there are others .. etc .

Oh and bahahaha-its me, Christianity does teach/scare you that god burns you to hell if you don’t believe in him. That’s terrorism. And believing is essential to all religions that worship god(s).
And no, you can’t choose what you believe in. For example, you can’t go from believing only in god to believing only the flying spaghetti monster instantly just because you decided to.

K, maybe I should have gone more in depth with this. You believe in the Judeo-Christian god, right? Can you make the decision to instantly believe in a different god instead, such as Thor or Zeus?

No not myself , because my faith is strong in what I believe and nothing will ever change that .
Though some others may believe in God as I do, and then change their beliefs because of their lack of faith or for whatever reasons .. people change their minds . Some more stubborn than others , but ., it happens .

But you can’t decide what you believe in. It just happens. You for example, can’t make the decision to stop believing in god. That’s an example. The people you mentioned can’t decide what they believe either. They may be able to change their beliefs, but it is not their decision to do so.

Im sorry but that makes no sense to me .
You’re saying that you are able to change your beliefs, but it’s not your decision ?? What do you mean by that ? Whos decision is it then ?

christianity does teach that god burns nonbelievers in hell BUT there are also some denominations that oppose that teaching.
people believe in what they find reasonable. of course we dont expect people who have no knowledge of the bible to just believe in it. they have to find reason to first.
