he’s actually not too fast for the sharingan to track, however that doesnt mean anything because itachi isnt fast enough to keep up with him. we’re also forgetting that the sharingan can copy techniques, which itachi has definetley taken the time to do even though he doesnt use them as much. kakashi only has one sharingan eye thats not as powerful and HE has access to over 1,000 techniques besides his own, so ya KNOW itachi’s gotta have some. i think we’re also forgetting that magenkyou sharingan usrers can send stuff to other dimensions by looking at them (ya know like the time kakashi warped diedara’s arm off into another dimenson so he couldn’t make/use his exploding clay anymore?) if somehow itachi DID get goku to look into his eyes, first of all he’d warp the reality so that all of goku’s power and/or mental training didn’t exist in that world making them useless. then while goku gets tortured itachi will warp all of his limbs and head off into seperate dismensions, leaving nothing but his lifeless torso on the ground. but thats only assuming he could get goku to look in his eyes which is pretty unlikley if goku knows about his abilities.
honestly... I don’t think Itachi would know what’s coming to him. I’m not a fanboy of either Naruto or DBZ (actually enjoyed Naruto better) but Itachi wouldn’t be able to even track Goku with his eyes. Instant transmission, flying, all the fricken strength. Goku would literally only have to punch him once and it’d be over. Itachi would have to rely solely on catching him with his Sharingan.
I’d say really, that Itachi only has a chance if he used it right from the beginning while they were monologuing at each other right before the fight. If Itachi gave Goku a single inch in this fight, Itachi would be flattened before he knew what had happened.
