I agree with you. Nirvana is overrated. All the same, I still enjoy listening to some of their songs (call it my “guilty pleasure”, “nostalgia”, etc.). Other 90s grunge bands had far more talent.
All the same they did significantly contribute to the music industry. And for that I respect them.

Same. I have massive respect for anyone who makes it that big and influences that many people.
It just irritates me; the amount of fanboy-dom surrounding them, from kids who grew up after Kurt had snuffed it and only know about Nirvana through Kerrang! Magazine. It’s pathetic. Nirvana are stupidly overrated.
