thas not contradiction. god forgives u if u repent. hell fire does not exist. its a mbol for everlasting destruction. meaning there wont be a resurrection.
i can name one contradiction. where god says he can do anything and where he says he cant lie.
theres more in skeptics annonated bible or whatever website. type it in google.
God didn’t say he couldn’t lie, and he didn’t say he couldn’t sin. That is just a common miss-conception of the bible, why don’t you do research before believing everything your told?
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
— titus 1:2
why dont u actually find out if someone hasnt done research before accusing him of not doing so?
and i dint say god couldnt sin. whyd u even bring that up when i dint say anything about it. i jus brought up lie.

my explaination. abraham was asked to offer isaac when he was the only son. afterwards he had more.
but u might reason why was isaac the only son in gen. 22 but not in gen. 16.
weel, the bible is not written chronologicly(well fully).
for example, in gen. 1 it says God made male and female. but in gen. 2, adam was alone first, then God created eve.

in my bible version, the word used was forming instead of formed. i guess it all depends on the literal hebrew word.
again, every new chapter, is a new story. chapter 2 goes into more detail.

I did grab them off SAB, but I verified them all with my bible {And added in the commentary}
there are sleight differences in wording {which is the main difference between All bibles} such as “Matthew 28:16
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them." is worded had arranged for in my copy, many of the quotes are similar, but none are reworded in such a way to imply a false meaning.
That is just the mindset of religious devotees when they see the word “skeptic”. “Oh they must have changed the words to prove things contradict but we know better, I’m not going to even bother with that”
Although you are right in several cases above. Biblical names were common, much like they are today. and your fathers name was your last. But several of the quoted passages are in reference to the same event {and person} yet the story changes.. and not even a few times
You can believe, and have faith, without holding a book in your hand. Especially one used to enslave a world by convincing people that if you don’t Believe in it, you’re going to burn

whats that?
Psalms 137:9 Happy will he be that grabs ahold an does dash to pieces, your children against the crag
but to understand it, you need to read all of 137 {I’ll just type the needed passages}
137:1 By the Rivers of Babylon-there we sat down. We also wept when we remembered Zion.
:3 For there those holding us captive asked us for the words of a song. {they’re prisoners}
:6 let my tongue stick to my palate {keep me from telling them what I think}
:8 O daughter of Babylon, who are to be despoiled. Happy will he be that rewards you with your own treatment, with which you used against us {you’ll get what you gave us}
:9 Happy will he be that grabs ahold and does dash to pieces, your children against the crag
The entire psalm is more a “You’re gonna get yours, and your sons and their sons will pay the price, and God will reward someone to do to you, as you have done to us”

Hes not killing anyone, we kill eachother.
The devil kills. God allows him to do so to teach people a lesson.
According to the Bible god kills.
God kills everyone (men, women, children, infants, newborns) in Sodom and Gomorrah by raining “fire and brimstone from the Lord out of heaven." Well, almost everyone — he spares the “just and righteous” Lot and his family
The people of Soddom and Gomorrah had brought that upon themselves , the outcry that had against God’s people was so great that he had to destroy it . The people of Soddom and Gommorah used sexual violence against men and women brutally .
You can enjoy God but you also have to fear him . The soddomites mocked him and his people , they had already passed the point . I’m sure it didn’t please God to sit there and kill this city of people , but I believe that it came to a point where they could’ve sucked other people in and ruined their lives (by raping, etc) just has they had tried to do to the angels that had came down that Lot had gave hospitality to . I am sure God was displeased , but when you play with fire you are going to get burnt .
So that settles it. God is the ultimate terrorist.

God is the ultimate terrorist.
well like it showed in ZeitGeist, {which I have been telling people long before that movie came out} the bible is a book of events, and the time in which they happened is the stardate.
using greek mythology for example {and off the top of my head, so the info is rhetorical for descriptive purposes ie I may get the facts scrambled, but it’s just to explain}
the story of Hercules cleaning the Augean stables {where thousands of cattle were kept in greek times} said that he diverted 2 rivers and washed it clean. What actually happened was when the constellation of Hercules was in the 10th house{or 2nd, I’ve yet to figure it out yet, but one day} those two rivers flooded the Augean stables.
Hercules had 12 tasks, there are 12 signs in the Zodiac, 12 months.
Taurus is the bull, 5th month may{5th task of 12}. if it had been the 4th task, it would have still been in Taurus, but the end of April.
the use of analogy and stories was a way to keep track of when events happened. By taking the constellation above and stamping it onto a natural event, or making the person{human} directly involved, a divine cross between man and God(s), would ensure we would never forget the lessons learned. Was there a Man Jesus? I used to think no, but yes I think there was, and then the traits and divinity in the heavens {sky} and the astrological sign at the time, were mashed together into the bible stories
that’s just the way it was done, and now people kill each other because they think that their belief is the only truth

Oh come on. What could be more terroristic than, “believe this or die/burn forever”?
