1)The word covenant means “A promise to God”… The Covenant in Halo are a collective promise to their gods that the prophecy of activating the 7 rings will be fulfilled.

2)The Spartans were said to have been created in the image of the Greek warriors of Sparta… During the era of Sparta, Greek governments were ruled at the time by a triumvirate (3 equal leaders) The Spartans would oppose these leaders because of their irrationality and deceit. The Covenant Prophets Truth, Mercy and Regret form a Triumvirate...

3)John 11:7 in the Bible speaks of Justice and The law being done through Moses as he is the chosen one to save his people. The master chiefs name and designation is “Spartan John 117” (Note: I think he means John 1:17 in the Bible)

4)In the Biblical story of Noah, a man was looking for safety in a dangerous world and found a ship called “The Ark”. In Halo 3 the Ark is the only safe place where any living organism can survive the activation of the Halo’s… Now HERE is the crazy part... What are both of these Character’s running from and trying to prevent??............ THE FLOOD !! Is that not fucking genius or what?

5)Don’t forget the Christian term… “The Ark of The Covenant”… That’s pretty scary isn’t?

6)In the Middle Ages Cortana was the name of an ancient sword used to stab Kings in the back. (Foreshadowing?)

7)Get ready for this part... Approx 10 years ago about 3-4 years BEFORE the first Halo launched... There was a person claiming to be named “Cortana” who even had the E-mail Cortana@bungie.net. She sent many e-mails to the employee’s of Bungie. All of them were very Cryptic, Eerie and Poetic. In one of her E-mails she utters the words... “I have stood with the ghost at the tomb, I have seen beyond the abyss, I know you, your past, your future... “THIS IS THE WAY THE WORLd ENDS” The EXACT words she spoke in the first Halo 3 Trailer. Not only is this a reference to a poem by T.S. Elliot (a devout catholic), But also to the tomb of Jesus Christ himself. She claims she was present at the entrance to his burial grounds 2552 years before the events in Halo. (think about it)

8)I think it’s safe to say that these aren’t coincidences…
