Excellent interpretation, and most seem to be spot on. I have been contemplating a resignation as a moderator for a very long time now, but the fact that I enjoy moderating in brief periods makes me stay. I find it incredibly hard to embrace change for reasons unknown, I will try to remedy that in the future. However, I will have to stand by myself giving my password to other users... I do this very infrequently and only whenever I sense a time of danger (due to mass spamming) and I cannot stay online for personal reasons. I’d rather this site be maintained by somebody else rather than leave the sole power to myself and fail to remain here.
What I said was mearly an observation, not an attack against you. You are getting old Firewolf, and the older people tend to get, the less likely they are to enjoy and accept change. Maybe you should talk to Bjarne about giving your account out to members. He needs to be told about it. I mean in the end it should be his decision weather or not you give moderating powers out to other members.
I never took it as an attack. If you give out criticism, the first thing I would say previously was “in what ways can I improve." In fact, I am agreeing with you on most fronts. However, many times when I do hand out my account it is only to people I can trust. Never have I regretted it.
Good, and I’m just saying it’s something that you and Bjarne should talk about.
