It won’t defeat it. Defeat means to take down and pretty much obliterate. Halo 3 will not die because of Super Smash Bros.
A good example of a game getting obliterated is Killzone. Because Halo 2 was so good barely any attention went to it, therefore it only sold about 500,000 copies that year.

I believe Smash bros will do better in sales and reviews. Going by that definition though, you are right Brawl will not “defeat” Halo 3.

It will probably sell more, I don’t know about the reviews though. The Halo series has never gotten below a 9.5

...flip that around and you got it, how is a mature game abou killing a game for all ages, ssbb is cartony as well contains many of peoples favorite characters it popular with non-hardcore fans of every age as well as hardcore fans (I’m not a hard-core nintendo fan and I like this game better than halo)

May not be by the end of 2007, but it will soon enough.
in sales ssbb will do better but halo will probabl get better reviews (thats why I never listen to reviews they are really only for hard-core gamers I usually like games that get low or average reviews as much as ones that get high ones)
