Do you think that I should remove the dropdown menu/effect on 'MovieCodec Forums/Downloads' in the upper-left corner considering the latest changes in design?

Personally I think yes. I will hardly ever be using it now.

Yeah, I like the idea of having the other forums at the side, rather than having to go up to the top every time I want to switch sections. It makes it a lot easier to navigate throughout the site...

It startled me when I saw the new layout...its kinda taking a while to get used to considering I have grown accustomed to the old layout over the last 11 months, but I like it.

It looks a little crowded at the moment, but thats just a short term thing until I get used to it.

I do think it is better though, you can navigate the whole site, see who’s online all from the same window you are on.

I say YES..Remove it. With the new layout, its now rendered defunct.

I agree with Firewolf, word for word, just so I seem smart.

But yeah, get rid of it. The side menus pretty much render it useless.

actually. I take that back. It’s still useful when inside a topic, and sense I don’t think we need the side bar when looking in a topic, I think it can still be useful.

I also think if you have a menu next to the topic it may get moor ppl to come hear.

Like in the lonely thread a lot of ppl go there never knowing there is a lot moor to this place.

I think the same could be said about a lot of the other threads.

so if you did that instead of the drop down menu next time someone gets hear they well know there’s moor to this place then just the one topic they googled are whatever search engin they used

Don’t remove it.

When you are in an actual topic where the side menu isn’t there, you can use the drop down menu.

At least, that’s what I do.

I mean, its a good option to have and I think it would be unnecessary to remove it.
