Help!!!!! Spent weeks making a slide show for my wifes 40th surprise birthday party, finally finished it (or so i thought) and saved it to disc. Saved fine to disc but I wanted to make some changes to the project, when i tried to open the file again, the message: file “cannot be opened because it is not a valid windows movie maker project file” appeared. The file name is still there but it just wont open!!! Help, the B-day party is Oct 6th. Thanks to anyone who can help!
You will have to forgive me, im not real computer savy, all i can tell you is that i saved it to a dvd and thats the last time the file would open on my computer; it did dave it to disc but i need to make changes to the file. Sorry for not have the answer to your last post
Ummm there is two types of movie files with movie maker...first there is the project file which you use to reedit the movie then there is the movie file which lets you play the movie so if you didnt save the project file u are screwed
