If you set your PS3, Wii, and 360 all side by side they will all collect duct at an even rate. The reason the PS3 seems to collect more dust is because it’s black, dark colors make it easier to see the duct where as light colors make it harder.
The Wii and 360 are both white, so it’s not as apparent. My PS2 looks dustier then my Wii does, but if I wipe my finger across each of them they’re both about the same.

The ps3 is static or something, pulls in dust.
But... then again... my ps3 is like an inch off of the ground, while my 360 is like 3 feet in the air.... so... that may be it.
But i’m serious, my ps3 collects dust like crazy.

actually PS3’s plastic is more cheesy than the 360’s and Wii’s....plus i wiped my hand over all three just a couple minutes ago. I wiped it over PS3 first and man my hand was covered (I had a light to see it too). Then i wiped it on my shorts and did the other two.....wii and 360 hardly had any dust.

It’s seriously true, my xbox was black, and it over a course of a year had never collected the amount my ps3 gets in a few days. And they were both in the same place.

I put the wad of dust next to it to see if my idea was right, i came back a few minutes later and it was touching my ps3, that means it moved in like 5 minutes.
It’s crazy, that is why i think my ps3 has some static.
And i have good reasons to complain, do you know what damage that much dust can do if it got inside the ps3? I don’t want it breaking over worthless dust.
