Edit: Whilst I’m thinking about it, the phrase I played in the recording is 3/4, which is played by Gavin ontop of the band’s 4/4, which is why it sounds so fucking insane.

Metallica was actually the first heavy metal band I ever listened to.
Mmmm..ya. I’ll admit, I’m only a fan of mainly their hits, Enter Sandman, One, Master of Puppets etc. And probably a few others that I don’t know the names of (unless listened to/looked up).

Metallica was actually the first heavy metal band I ever listened to.
Mmmm..ya. I’ll admit, I’m only a fan of mainly their hits, Enter Sandman, One, Master of Puppets etc. And probably a few others that I don’t know the names of (unless listened to/looked up).
My favorite Metallica album is ...And Justice For All. I liked all of the other albums before that one, but not nearly as much.
First Metallica album I ever listened to was Master of Puppets though. Great album. Its too bad they don’t make that kind of music anymore.

If the vocals are the same as they were in Saint Anger, and the drums still sound like trash cans, than I don’t think there’s any reason I should bother listening to it. And I highly doubt that Metallica has the ability to make anything close to The Black Album... they’ve sucked ever since Load, and even The Black Album wasn’t that great.
In my opinion, the last good album they produced was ...And Justice For All. That was an excellent Thrash album.

Saint Anger was not their best. I preferred Kill Em All, Ride The Lightning, Master of Puppets, and the Black Album, also And Justice for All. Classic Metallica.
