who said the spartans would be bunched up fighting like retards? thy’d be in defensive positions, the 300 SPI’s would be invisible, and they’d be hammering them with spartan lasers.
They’re only partially invisible, and the Hunters have X-Ray and Thermal Visors, not to mention the 4 Hunter from Prime 3 have a hypermode ability that makes them invincible and able to deal great damage.

Once again, I’d like to point out that Samus could defeat all 300 Spartans all by herself. But hey, let’s give 9 partners for the heck of it.
Does Dark Samus and the SA-X count as Hunters?
SA-X wouldn’t count as a hunter, but the Space Pirates did refer to Dark Samus as the Dark Hunter. If we include Dark Samus as a hunter, man the Spartans are boned.
Lol, Samus could also quickly defeat them using her most powerful weapon: The Speed Booster. She’d just run through them before they could escape. Ima go eat a snack, see ya.
ya dark samus should count as a hunter(dark hunter)
dark samus corrupted 3 of the more powerful hunters(the last 3 on the list above) and preaty much took them over like it was nothing, and turned them against samus and the federation, then when samus beat them (when they still had tons of energy to fight) dark samus killed them, and absorbed their power into her. preaty intence. plus, Dark samus controls a ton of space piraits so the Spartans are preaty much boned

How bout this, samus goes behind a rock, turns on dark visor and just kills the spartan with the wave beam.
The wave beam didn’t go through walls in MP. It only did in the early gameboy versions, but there were no such things as hunters in metroid back then, so we have to stick with MP.

No the wave beam went through walls in all 2-d games.
