Not gonna make it a poll cause want it to be a discussion not a simple answer.

Religion has lasted the test of the time. But it’s been ever changing since it’s start. So in 500 years to 1000 years how will religion will be viewed. What will be the popular religion or philosophy. Will the belief in dieties still be around. What do you think they’ll think of religion before us.

Personally I think religion has been ever shifting since the beginning. Shifting from powerful to a continuing failure. I personally think down the road that religions of old will probably be fading to oblivion, unless religions adjust, as we saw wiht many during the last 1000 years, to meet with new times and scientific discoveries.

I think that by then science discoveries will be so much higher that pretty much all religions ideals now will be put as pure myth. Basically waht I’m getting at is our philosphies and beliefs today will be the future’s mythologies and and studies tomorrow.

It’s only western civilization that is less attuned to religion. Religion will always be strong overseas.

That’s cause over there they run theocracies. Places like Isreal and the Middle East are places where religion and government are one. Really there aren’t to many places in Europe or lots of parts of Asia that are run by theocracies.

religion is dying in europe.

there can only be one true religion. thats why most religion seems bad. in the future i think there will be almost no religion, except for the true religion of course.

but i also think, humans are morally declining. less respect for elders(an parents), more fornication(more stds), more cussing, more violence, etc.

Religion and philosophy aren’t the same thing. Philosophy is what creates new forms of governments and other things. They are 2 very different things.

Well I think in the future religion will have to go along with what science hasn’t discovered and maybe God will be less of a creator and more of a supervisor.

You’re right but don’t mistake them as the same thing. We would not be here if it weren’t for philosophy.

In my opinion, We’ll still have religion, as I said in another topic.

Religion won’t be as widely spread and science will be the dominant belief, but there will still be religion.

I don’t see EVERYONE just dropping it.

There will still be those who worship.
