Nope its a human thing to say. HOw sadly disturbing though it is when self proclaimed Christians do things like this. The meaning of Christian is Christ like and not one follower can be that. I agree, every single Christian that says shit like that is obviously not a true Christian. If they were, they would know that
1. It’s not THEY who decide who goes where, it is by the will of God.
2. You don’t have to live your life as a Christian to go to Heaven, you simply have to repent and truly believe the Christ is your savior and all that.
3. Just because you CLAIM to be a Christian, it does NOT mean that you honestly are or that you’re automatically going to Heaven.

That would be according to the Catholic church, and it an idea created by the pope to explain what happens to children and people before christs time. If only it was mentioned in the bible at all I would concider beliving it, but currently it is not referanced.
By the way, there are two different types of limbo’s. Limbo of the Patriarch’s, which is for all the saints and holy men who came before Jesus time and Limbo of the Infants, which is for all children who die before they are old enough to be baptised.
So saying that people who don’t believe in God go to limbo isn’t very accurate. I know I probably shouldn’t quote verses at you, but as far as the bible is concerned here we go:
Revelation 3:15-16, “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other. So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth." (NIV)
I’m not sure about you but to me that sounds like those who are undecided about God don’t end up in this limbo but are instead spit out of God’s mouth. But hey, what do I know eh?
