Actually, emo stands for emotional hardcore, which was a subgenre of hardcore punk thats been turned into a genre of over emotional 17 year olds wearing chick pants. And gothic? None of those bands are even close to gothic.

MCR is shitty pop punk, just because they wear black doesnt mean theyre gothic. And I was referring to what emo/hardcore has become.
Wikipedia classfies alot of bands as gothic among those MCR , and HIM =D just saying and i was refering to what emo music has become im just saying emo doesn’t mean cut ur self for some of those people that believe it it means emotional or emotional hardcore so don’t start a NET Fight over this lol

It doesnt matter how wikipedia classifies it, its how the band plays, dickwhore. MCR is pop punk, HIM is “love metal”.
