Thats the real world for you, and there is no definite stereotype of people’s taste for humor. My friends find The Office to be funny but I think little of it. I can find some humor in Family Guy but some episodes are not for me. There is a lot of research in this area, especially on the marketing side. That is why there is different humor in different episodes because they are trying to target a wide audience. I one thought Robot Chicken was the most hilarious thing ever but some friends thought it was trash. Probably because it was too crazy or they couldn’t relate.

sam643 Guest | i liked family guy when i watched 3 episodes then when i got a box set it became tedious and annoying- the subject in each one is sex orientated and the jokes are crude, simpsons works well because it appeals to all ages and everyone can enjoy it and im sorry to any family guy fans but FG just scrapes the bottom of the barrel and will never be the simpsons. i must admit though i did quite enjoy the star wars based episode, if they did more like that instead of sex and crap jokes it would be a good show
