Every single song talks about women, diamonds and dancing. I know ALOT about Hip Hop. Biggie Smalls and Tupac started it in the 90’s. It was started in Atlanta. And shooting people make you cool.

Sorry that is hypocritical to say that. I don’t know that much about rap and hip hop and even I know that they’re not “all the same”. Take musicians like k-os for example. He’s a rap/hip hop musician (also has influences of reggae in some songs as well as other styles) and his entire stance is against the problems you indicated with some rap and hip hop.
Also you didn’t limit your statement by geography, so I’m going to pull in this example. In the East the type of rap/soul/hip hop that is emerging is very political in nature. This form speaks out against violence and social problems.
Lastly, it doesn’t sound like you really do know much about the genre. I wouldn’t say someone “knew” rock if the sum of their knowledge was some stereotyped opinions.
