do jews even believe in hell(a place of eternal torment for sinners and unbelievers)? i dont think so. nothing in the hebrew scriptures(old testament) that would indicate it, theres nothing even in the hebrew scriptures that would indicate an afterlife.

Is maybe the church who use more the terms heaven and hell, Jesus only say if you dreess the poor, get to eat the hunger, get water to the thirsty, in other words being good to others you find salvation. he never talk only christian get salvation, he use the good Samaritan tale to explain that.
Heaven and Hell are in the Earth probably, if you are in peace with your soul and yourself, you are save, but if your soul is trouble then your life is hell, and the main message o Jesus was love. with love you are save.
