I agree with you Jon. Definitely leave the diss one...question is which should be the “main rap thread”. Vintage started up one...we also have the older one by Big Red. Keep both of those maybe and lock the rest?
I say you only leave one what’s the point of having two if they’re the exact same thing which one you leave doesn’t really matter
Agreed, and I’d say leave the one with the most posts.
I would normally say the most posts too, except that Vintage specifically made that thread to replace the one that got locked. The second one created by Big Red has more history (and more posts), except that over its history it didn’t get used as much as the freestyle rap thread, and had some history of problems as well.
So the question is - should we let the people who use the threads decide, or just make a decision?
I say leave one of the new ones since the reason we locked it in the first place is to start fresh
That’s what I was thinking too. I’m going to have to leave for just a little bit so I can get some work done (I’m drowning here), but I’ll be back a little later.

There were a lot of problems going on in that thread, including, but not limited to, death threats, suicide encouragement, excessive flaming, rampant racism...
After giving a general warning to the thread the majority of the people in there voted that they would rather have the thread locked and start a new one. So the thread is locked.
All the same I’ll have to have a word with them.
But all of that was out of fun and games haven’t you ever seen 8 Mile it was basically just a little fun we were having but I gotta thank Vintage for opening that new one. we got better people on there anyway!
