I thought the Wiimote worked okay for Prime 3 but horrid on other shooters for the Wii. My problem with MP3 is sometimes when attempting to turn it would get stuck and keep turning even though your not aiming it to turn anymore. I also don’t particularly like the slowness and difficulty in turning a 180 should an enemy be shooting at you from behind. That would be terrible with online multiplayer. I’ll stick with the traditional double analog stick or mouse/keyboard. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there’s room for improvement on the somewhat glitchy/partly non-responsive Wiimote but I think they should have added another analog stick. I also fear for BRAWL because fighters just really don’t work well with the sensors.

I had the exact same concerns, but Nintendo isn’t forcing players to use the motion sensing with that game. There are in fact, four controls schemes to choose from and can be seen here.

u do realize all reviewers prefer mp3’s controls better than halo’s controls or any analog wat soever
and that’s why the game has 3 sensor levels

Well, think about it. If you use the zapper to aim, you’d have to turn 180 degrees with the zapper to be able to turn 180 degrees, facing away from the TV. Even with the sensitivity up high, it would seem strange nudging it a little to turn al the way around.

I think MP3 worked better than any shooter I have played before, on the advanced setting it was almost as quick as turning with a dual stick controller but aiming was great and turning was second to none. EA was able to nail the controls in a recent preview IGN said about MOHH2. The game should be fun and work well with other online shooters to come.
Zeta- that is a fan designed wiimote mockup. It’s not real nor happenining. REad your own link.
Xtrm- I actually think Call of Duty 3 worked amazing. I mean it had its camera issues from time to time but if you adjusted the sensitivity around and played with it soon you’ll find one that works pretty amazing for you. I liked COD3 controlls. Red Steel controls were good but horrid camera issues is what killed it. MoH: Vanguard and Farcry both had solid controls but once again not amazing.
MP3 on the other hand had simply incredible controls. Everything was fluid and I don’t recall having really any camera issues.
