Dark raider - Evolution has pretty much been proven. The only thing people still disagree with is the so-called “macro-evolution”, which is just something theists used to try and justify creationism since we know for a fact evolution works in small doses. Of course, no respected biologist ever calls it micro/macro evolution, just evolution.
It has been scientifically proven to be true. I have never seen any proof of the Garden of Eden and of mankind started by two human beings who popped out of the ground... In fact if creationism is true... It means im related to you!!!

Not really. I used to be the only one who made intellectual topics but people just aren’t into those.
i just think an evolution topic located in the religion section is out of place. maybe if they renamed the section to “Religion/Science” would sound more appropriate.

In the science world the word “proof” has a different meaning than traditionally. It is so difficult to “prove” a scientific theory that I can honestly say that there are very little pieces of scientific knowledge that have actually been “proven”. For example, gravity is still considered a theory even though we know it exists. Scientists come up with a theory, and then they test it in as many ways as they can, looking for evidence or information which will either prove the theory to be impossible or maybe verify some of the theory’s predictions, or change the theory a little. Most theories start out because someone has done a lot of experiments, or a lot of studies, to look at something, and then they make a general guess as to how that thing works. This is called a “theory” in science. However, if we guess how things are based on what someone else tells us, or based on what we read, that is not a “theory” to a scientist but a “guess”. Creationism would be considered a guess because it has no scientific evidence to back it up and comes straight from scripture.
If you want evidence for evolution, then you could google it and find overwhelming evidence that would support it. But I’ll give you a general page that shows some of the evidence
