It has been scientifically proven to be true. I have never seen any proof of the Garden of Eden and of mankind started by two human beings who popped out of the ground... In fact if creationism is true... It means im related to you!!!
if evolution is true it would mean ur related to ur dog(well if u have one).
and, no, evolution has not been scientifically proven. have u seen proof of evolution? show me.
well give me proof ur god is real and that he created us
i didnt say God’s existence has been scientificaly proven now, have i?
ps3kicks360 on the other hand has said evolution has been scientifically proven.

In the science world the word “proof” has a different meaning than traditionally. It is so difficult to “prove” a scientific theory that I can honestly say that there are very little pieces of scientific knowledge that have actually been “proven”. For example, gravity is still considered a theory even though we know it exists. Scientists come up with a theory, and then they test it in as many ways as they can, looking for evidence or information which will either prove the theory to be impossible or maybe verify some of the theory’s predictions, or change the theory a little. Most theories start out because someone has done a lot of experiments, or a lot of studies, to look at something, and then they make a general guess as to how that thing works. This is called a “theory” in science. However, if we guess how things are based on what someone else tells us, or based on what we read, that is not a “theory” to a scientist but a “guess”. Creationism would be considered a guess because it has no scientific evidence to back it up and comes straight from scripture.
If you want evidence for evolution, then you could google it and find overwhelming evidence that would support it. But I’ll give you a general page that shows some of the evidence
Evidence Supporting Evolution
And according to DNA, you are indeed related to your dog.
thank u, for the information about the word “proof” in the “science world”. u just helped prove ps3kicks360 wrong.
ps3kicks360 said that evolution has been scientifically proven.
he did not say that there are overwhelming evidence that support evolution.
that is why i asked him to show me “proof” not evidence.
can u show me proof? can anyone? if not then i am correct, evolution has not been scientifically proven.
anyways, on a different subject, thank u but no-thank u for the link u provided me ram. i wont read it, im sure ull understand, ive posted links supporting some of my beliefs and i doubt anyone reads them.
id rather hear ur understanding of evolution. id rather know how it makes sense to u.

Not really. I used to be the only one who made intellectual topics but people just aren’t into those.
i just think an evolution topic located in the religion section is out of place. maybe if they renamed the section to “Religion/Science” would sound more appropriate.
How is it out of place? Evolution is widely debated against religion and vice versa.
Besides, religion and science can’t co-exist.
i find it out of place because this is a science(well, supposedly science) topic located in a religion section.
and um, ironically, u say science and religion cant coexist.
i wonder if there was a science section and u found a topic about creation located in that section, would u not feel that that topic is out of place?

But you missed the whole point. Even though the word “proof” has a different meaning in the scientific world, it doesn’t mean a theory isn’t true just because it can’t be scientifically proven.

Well I would feel that is out of place because creationism isn’t science. However, most of the topics here that involve science that contradict religion. Basically science vs religion. You don’t see people making scientific topics that doesn’t have reliigon contradict it.

but ur right here. just cuz we cant prove something doesnt mean its not true.

ok, i understand. but this topic doesnt have anything to do with conflict between science and religion.

Science = observation
You cannot observe evolution.
Evolution is the world’s most popular fairy-tale.

#1 Evolution has never been observed
#2 Evolution violates the 2nd law of thermodynamics
#3 There are no transitional fossils
#4 The theory of evolution says that life originated, and evolution proceeds, by random chance
#5 Evolution is only a theory; it hasn’t been proved
here you go
BTW I find it amusing how you think evolution is a fairy tale yet you believe an invisible man created us out of dirt and a man’s rib.

Explain to me how nonliving material became alive.
If we can’t make them happen, then there is no way it could possibly of happened by accident.

Why do theists get so pissed off at the mere mention of evolution, and why do atheists get pissed off at the mere mention of creation?
Fact is, its almost impossible to prove god does/doesnt exist, and that you shouldnt be so concerned how you got here. You should be concerned about not being a complete douche, and not about whether or not you came from microorganisms, or god.
My 2 gaytarded cents.

Nyarlathotep Rep: 8 Joined: 26 Jun 2005 Posts: 6,914 OFFLINE | Most atheists get angry, because many religious people run around screaming: “You’re goin ta hell, dirty rotten sinner!"
And no one wants to here that.
I don’t get mad when I hear about evolution, I get aggravated when people act like religion is absolutely ridiculous.
An Atheist’s biggest fear is that when he dies, he might be wrong.
I have nothing to fear about death. If I’m wrong, and there is no God, then I haven’t lost anything.

I dont think hell would be the whole fire and brimstone thing in the bible. It would be sitting in a pink room, listening to fallout boy, watching full house, while a preppy douche keeps trying to annoy you. That, my friend, is hell.

well, hell is probably different for different people. Some might have it worse than others.
But, it also says that the fires of hell never burn out.
