Ever since 9/11 Bush and his Adminastration have made it their goal to keep taking every last one of our constitutional rights away. Using the “terrorists” or “suspected terrorist” thing as a reason to take our liberties away. And our stupid fat Americans keep letting them do this. All because we are being manipulated and brainwashed like it has for so long. And we just sit here and take it becuase of our false pretenses of fear of terrorism: BULLSHIT.

Anyways a year ago the Bush Adminastration passed another act that limits our freedom. One that is little heard about but jsut as unconstiutional as the Patriot Act. It is called the Military Commission Act of 2006 and here’s what it basically states:

The Military Commissions Act of 2006, which does away with habeas corpus, the right of suspected terrorists or anybody else to know why they have been imprisoned, provided the president does not think it should apply to you and declares you an enemy combatant.

Further, the bill allows the CIA to continue using interrogation techniques so long as they do not cause what is deemed, quote, “serious physical or mental pain.” And it lets the president to ostensibly pick and choose which parts of the Geneva Convention to obey.

Basically waht this is stating is that you can be labeled as an “enemy combatant” and then be arrested and detained for an undetermined amount of time. YOu will be denied habeaus corpus, meaning no defense, or due process of law, or anything that you have Constituional rights on. Then you can be interrorgaged to the point of torture, as long as it doesn’t cause “serious physical or mental pain”.

Yes this bill was passed in October 2006. It is completely unconstitutional yet this country full of idiots hardly knows about it and those who do know about it are too dumbed down to say anything about it. This is just another time that America is being tricked into give up its right becuase of false pretenses. This country better start fighting for its rights or we’ll end up just to where we were back before the American Revolution.

“And remember one thing. Regardless of who the powers that be are. The people you elect, the people I elect into office. Remember, you have the fucking power, we’re the fucking leaders. Don’t let these bastards dictate your life, or try to tell you what to do alright." -Green Day at Bullet in a Bible concert

That’s really above the point. The point actually being 2 things. One this is completely unconstitutional no matter which way you look at it. And secondly is shows an authoritarian move by our government in an attempt to limit our rights and we simply just sit here and take it. That’s the point being made.

And by the way there have been many men suspected of terrorism, who were taken illegaly to Guantanamo Bay, tortured, and then later released as they did have nothing to do with it at all. Now how the hell is that justice.

I mean seriously there were people convicted of being the suicide hijackers at 9/11 that turned up alive after the government stated they were the ones who were behind 9/11.

Quick comment on the quote you used.

We aren’t the fucking leaders. That’s a lie they teach kids to give them self esteem. We aren’t the leaders. We pick who they are.

We aren’t a Democracy. We are NOT. We are a federal constitutional republic.

Just saying.

Terrorists are labeled “Enemy Combatants” instead of soldiers so that the geneva code dosnt apply to them.

Damn loopholes :/

Also after reading the official statement it states any person. Meaning they aren’t just saying aliens or whatnot this can apply to but leave it broad enough to any citizen.

But can’t believe some people are so willing to lay down power. I mean we have a represenative democracy but you already have power as its your vote that gets these people in. Even further you can also take them out of power. And also if you don’t like how a president’s doing you have the right to influence your senators to call for impeachment.

I mean there are so many rights Americans have that give us basic control over what our governement does or even repealing what they do that some other people in the world would kill for this. But its wasted on stupid fat Americans who are too lazy to do shit. Sad really. Thus we get things like this that most of yall have never even heard of today. And to think at all this time someone could have ratted you out as an “enemy combatant”. Then thney track you and illegaly look at all the phone calls you make, websites you enter, ect thx to the Patriot ACt. And then do what’s described in this Act to ya. All just cause someone ratted you out. Now is that justice. Cause it sure ain’t constituional.

Dogbert said the deepest thing ever.
“It is all a part of the big illusion we perpetuate upon ourselves and which is in turn perpetuated upon us. When we believe we engage the illusion, when we stop believing we shatter the illusion and ourselves in the process because we are part of it."
