It’s interesting how different school systems instill different schedules.
MOST elementary schools and kindergatens you sit with the same teacher all day, and they’re responsible for your education in all subjects.
In Europe by the time you’re in 6th or 7th grade till 12th you’re in one class (usually designated by a letter or number, 20-30 students), and you have weekly schedules much like the first poster. Different professors, but the same group of students (your class). (different class every year though)
In the states it’s the same, except EVERY student has a different schedule. However, everyday is the same schedule (same 7 or 8 classes at same times). Some schools add variety by having A days and B days. Any changes in schedule usually occur at the quarter or semester mark.
In university it tends to be everyone has their own schedule as well. Lectures tends to be the same on designated days though (usually Monday-Wednesday-Friday or Tuesday-Thursday) except for labs or recitation. MWF classes tend to go in 1 hour blocks, and T-Th ones in 90 min blocks.
My personal preference: european high school. Lots of teachers, RECESSES!!!! (they don’t give recesses in the states after 6th grade), and a lot of variety in schedule (not the same boring routine 6 days a week)

You forget, in college you can basicly pick your schedule. Want a recess? Give yourself one. Don’t want to go to school on fridays? Don’t take any friday classes. Want to be out by 1 PM every day? Schedule your classes early. Don’t want to get up before 9 AM? Take later classes. College is awsome.

Haha, you were a jock in high school huh?
Sarcasm.
Hey, anybody who flips burgers for a living was either:
1. A jock.
2. A pot head.
3. Completely unmotivated.
4. Liberal arts major.

Fail. You still have your 'five-year-old' grudge on me, and I can assume that’s the reason why you are desperately trying to flame me from my posts. You fail to understand sarcasm, and in maturity.

Um, I wasn’t saying you flip burgers for a living, I was pointing out the various groups of people who do flip burgers. Do you flip burgers for a living? If so I suppose you would fit into one of those groups. I assume from your level of intelligence shown on this site, that you are either currently in school striving to make something of yourself, or are in a business much less demeaning then that of our burger flipping breatherin. I was not attempting to insult you Mariluxia as this fued is both childish and demeaning to both of us. Please lets stop acting like children Mariluxia, I know it’s beneath me and I would surely hope that it is beneath you as well.
