He’s different because the ones on Krypton hadn’t been under a yellow sun at all.When he’s under a red sun he still has his reserves he’s just slowly losing power.

Really? Prove it! You can’t go around saying superman lost his powers everytime he gets owned. Superman has lost his powers before but Pre crisis never did.
