And then when he puts them up for ppl to vote, he doesn’t display are name above them so the people voting have a totally unbiased view of the sigs.
Cuz I know that sum ppl are just voting for others because they favor that member more....

It might give a more unbias result though. I will have to see what the other contestants think though.
I suppose the advantage of this to is that they can pm me and I can not look at them but post them on the last hr or so of the comp. This way, everyone, including myself has no idea of the entries so they are all flying blind and cant copy or try and better a idea.
Fairer for everyone.
Oh and before anyone asks how do they know I wont peak.
Well the person who sends it to me can see when I have read the pm, to get the img code to view the sig, I would have to read the pm. If it is unread, I haven’t looked. Plus I’m a honest guy. I see no point in cheating. It takes all the fun and fairness out of the comp

Once I have posted the entries for that weeks SOTW for Voting, There are ways for members to find out who made what sig, no matter whether I posted it on my account, your account or cids account. I wont say for fear of exposing this method, but If everyone wishes to PM me their entries before the cut off date for the next one, I will post them in the voting thread for people to vote on. thats pretty much as anonymous as it can get.
I would avoid putting names on them too if this is gong to be the way of subsequent SOTW entries. I will know who they are anyhow as their name would be attached to the pm that contains the entry.

Ummm I don’t quite follow.
If I get a sig via PM I will look at that message only in the last 1/2 hr of the SOTW submission time. I will then post all sigs for voting.
The winner will be announced by there name and winning entry at the end of voting and be added to the winners hall of fame.
The only way to differentiate the sigs posted for voting would be via a letter or number and voting would be as normal.
They would post VOTE FOR SIG A/1 or something like that.
Oh and no one will steal my account. There have been a few attempts of late, but no successes.

Oh yeah, that.
Seems more hassle than its worth, plus since I create the threads, its a simple process to get to my user page to PM me.
It would be simpler and easier than random accounts or changing passwords, and as I have said, the entrants can see if I have read their message or not, if I see a img tag, I wont read it. Pretty simple.

Yah. I have no problem sending the PMs to you like this. I’ve no reason to believe you’d cheat or let who did it influence you.

Everyone upload there image to imageshack (cuz you wont be able to tell by the url)
Then send it to FW.
Ya sum ppl will still be able to tell who’s is who, but it will be a lot more anonymous and they will prolly have doubts if that is really the person they are thinking of.

I thought about that too.
I and most other contestants would be able to tell on most occasions, whos sig is whos.
.2.2.6. for example is very individual and distinctive in style.
The idea of anonymity is by no means a fool proof method of keeping things fair, but merely gives everyone the same chance of being partially judged without favoritism to a member.
