What Should I Get Call of Duty 4 For?

It’s a known fact that the PS3 is significantly more powerful than the 360 but is harder to program for. This means that games released on both often look slightly worse on the ps3 because the developers don’t spend the extra time on them. One of the key differences I think is that the 360 has anti-aliasing built in where the ps3 does not - hence ps3 games often have more jaggies and look less smooth. HOWEVER, when they spend the time it looks much better. For example, Killzone is a year away and IGN have already said that it looks quite a lot better than GoW. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this game looks better on PS3 because developers are now getting used to the hardware. They’ve already proven that the PS3 runs the Unreal enginer much better than the 360.

The PlayStation Eye2 can be used as a mic too, I bet plenty of Eye2’s get sold this holiday. DS I’d go for the PS3 version.

PS3 Fan (for once) is right. The PS3 version is overall the better version. But i’ll prob get the 360 version, Xbox Live and the 360 controller are the main reasons.

As far as the quote PS3 Fan posted, I’ve seen CoD4 in its full quality...

Its not that good. I think UT3 looks a helluva lot better than CoD4. Shit, Halo 3 looks a helluva lot better than CoD4. It looks awesome, but considering how badly it performs versus the little you actually get out of it...

Unless they beefed up the PS3 version even beyond the maximum you can get out of the PC one.

so far i have a big feeling the online will b bttr on 360..but from some sources supposedly the graphics will b bttr on PS3.

i actually had to *sigh* cancel my pre-order....

I’m gonna rent it on both versions to help me decide.

the head to head comparisons are only that way because developers havent unlocked the full potential of the ps3. the xbox 360 is almost at maximum graphics potential, gears of war barely ran on the damn thing. in a years time the ps3 will be the dominant graphics machine once developers figure out how to use the new cell processor that is so powerful.

the ps3 completely rules over the 3shity.

only people with the 3shitty are going to say 3shitty because, well, quite honestly, that’s all they know.

for someone that has both, the ps3 version (of the same titles) are for the most part better in ALMOST all aspects.

the 3shitty does have mindless lemmings that love to pay for online gaming (which i believe is shameful of microsoft).

there are a few games that are much more suited for the 3shitty than the ps3...that’s tetris.

so...bottom line. if you just want to buy the game to buy it, pick either console. if you want the game to look, taste, and feel real, get it for the ps3. way more bang for the buck.

They’re the same you moron. 360 version has been touted better because the online from Xbox Live supersedes that of PlayStation online.

Get the PS3 version . Why? Because the graphics are sligthly better , all the people saying that for most cross-platform games the 360 is better graphics , ythey are rigth , for now , but that is because the developers want to save money by making the game to the full extent of the 360’s power on the 360 , then porting it to the PS3 , but if devs were to make games to the full power of the PS3 , then the 360 would look like shit . When the exclusives come out like FF13 and MGS4 , we will see what has better graphics , in short . 360 games look better because cross-platform games are more profitable and making a game on PS3 then porting it to 360 with the same graphics would be impossible.

So get the PS3 version so you can sell your 360 easier later.
