he has been see to skirt the photosphere of the sun (10,000,000 degrees F)
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — -

Is it yellow sun or red sun??? If that was red sun, the sun it self only giving him more power... NO DOUBT...

Owned by all Gold Saint since the Gold cloth were from the sun it self when it all combined togheter it will have the same power of destruction of the sun...

if he was completely powered and using all of his stored energies. He may project beams of force that have the ability to reach temperatures of 11,000 degrees F, sufficient to melt steel in seconds
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Goku can do this better... Hey wait a minute Phoenix Ikki could do the same too...

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Utililizing molecular motion, Superman is capable of Mach speeds in excess of Mach 10 in atmosphere

Superman is capable of enhanced reflex action and the ability to move at incredible speeds by sheer force of will. He is not quite as fast as the Flash and cannot achieve lightspeed under his own power, but can reach a high speed percentage of lightspeed in normal space. Superman can match most other speedsters in their ability to perform superfast movements, reactions, and processes. He can use this power to disarm opponents without heightened reflexes, catch bullets or shrapnel or cross vast distances in seconds. He has been seen flying from the Moon to the Earth in under 2 minutes. That is the equivalent of 2000 miles per second or 1% the speed of light. The source of this power remains unexplained.
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Saint Seiya could move at mach 17 when he was at bronze saint... but when he turned to Gold cloth and reach 7th sense he could move at speed of light... At this point all saint which have 7th sense are better than supes

All the supes power owned by Gold Saint but only the lifting not have by them but Gold Saint Taurus Aldebaran are quite strong to take out Hulk and Juggernaut since he could lift up a mountain plate...

That was in myth anyway...

Thor have speed from his Hammer...

I never that Thor’s hammer gave him speed but even though it does,it doesn’t make Thor deliver fast punches as Superman does.

Nope...

I got shocked when I receive 10 volt of electricty... but I’ll be burned away getting 1 millions volt of electricity...

thats different man... get shocked with 1 millions volt will be different when you get 1 trillions volt of electricity... try some 100 volt and try 500 volt... what will happen to you next???

Obvoiusly I’ll be dead meat!!!That won’t happen to Superman!!!!

Very well here goes (straight from Wikipedia)

Powers and abilities
Thor is the Norse god of thunder and lightning. Like all Asgardians, Thor is not truly immortal but relies upon periodic consumption of the Golden Apples of Idun to sustain his lifespan, which to date has lasted many millennia. The strongest of the Norse gods, Thor has performed feats such as lifting the World Serpent, lifting and hurling the Odinsword, an extra-dimensional object of incredible power, through a Celestial [17] and damaging the armour of a Celestial with Mjolnir.[18] He is also capable of matching other Marvel powerhouses such as the Hulk, [19] Hercules,[20]Beta Ray Bill [21]and Gladiator. [22] He also possesses godly stamina, is highly resistant to physical injury and possesses superior speed and reflexes. If pressed in battle, Thor is capable of entering into a state known as the “Warrior’s Madness”, which will temporarily increase his strength tenfold.[23]

As heir to Odin’s power, Thor has controlled the Odinforce and displayed a mastery of Rune magic, becoming even more powerful than his father, Odin. In this form, Thor is capable of manipulating vast amounts of energy for a variety of purposes including temporary augmentation of physical attributes, energy projection, matter manipulation and interdimensional teleportation. While in possession of the Odinforce, Thor is capable of decapitating a Desak-occupied Destroyer[24] with one hammer throw, unmaking Mangog[25] and teleporting the entirety of Asgard to a new location[26]. Thor later acquired the knowledge of the Runes and a level of enlightenment that allowed him to free Asgard from the eternal cycle of Ragnarok.

Thor is also a superb hand-to-hand combatant and has mastered a number of weapons such as the war hammer, sword, and mace. Thor is also very cunning and intuitive in battle, with many centuries of experience. Thor possesses two items that assist him in combat: the Belt of Strength and his mystical hammer Mjolnir. The first item doubles Thor’s strength,[27] while the second is used for flight; weather control; energy projection and absorption; dimensional control; matter manipulation and the most powerful of Thor’s offensives, the God Blast[28] and the Anti-Force.[29]

You were right M.White,Thor is not immortal,he is
almost immortal.Your turn!!!

Thanks,my turn...

Superman’s Invulnerability:
Superman is nearly invulnerable to weapons used by normal humans in warfare and we believe that, fully powered, he could survive a near-direct nuclear strike with a ten megaton warhead. In his battle with Doomsday, he was the of the only metahumans able to hold his own against the creature. The battle eventually destroyed over half of Metropolis. He can survive in an environment completely devoid of atmosphere and suffer no ill effects, provided that he carries his own air resources He can operate for periods of up to 30 minutes without air. Extremes of heat and cold have no effect on him and he has been see to skirt the photosphere of the sun (10,000,000 degrees F) with no long term side effects, probably due to a feedback loop of solar energy powering his biomatrix field.

Super Strength
He can lift incredible weights and objects and not have them collaspe under their own weight, indicating a powerful form of telekinesis that surrounds the object protecting it from outside stresses. The upper limit to his physical strength is not known but with the telekinetic lifting capabilities possessed by Superman, he could conceivably lift objects weighing 100,000 tons or more. It is conceivable that he could lift more if he was completely powered and using all of his stored energies.

Energy Projection
He may project beams of force that have the ability to reach temperatures of 11,000 degrees F, sufficient to melt steel in seconds. He may also exercise some control of his telekinetic-like abilities with a feat he calls his superbreath. He may push objects down or move them back. He manifests this effect by blowing outward but even with his superior lung capacity, we believe it has more to do with a psionic manifestation of his telekinesis than with actual lung capacity.

Super Senses
He also possess a superior sensory arrangement of microscopic, telescopic, infrared and ultraviolet visual capabilities. Star Laboratories has not been able to complete define how Superman has been able to utilize his powerful senses, part of the mechanism is physical, part of it is believed to be psionic in nature. He can also hear in a range equal to that of the best natural or man-made sensors. His hearing is so acute and precise he can detect a whisper at 500 yards. He may also extend his hearing into the infra and ultrasonic ranges. How his senses can be so acute and so excellently calibrated is as yet unknown.

Flight
Superman is able to manipulate psionically, graviton particles, in an unknown and apparently unconscious manner, to defy the forces of gravity. Under one Earth gravity, Utililizing molecular motion, Superman is capable of Mach speeds in excess of Mach 10 in atmosphere. He has been seen to fly to the moon in minutes so we can assume that he can fly faster than that outside of atmospheric interference. His control of his flight is perfect and he can perform aerobatic feats such as hovering, flying backwards and even lifting great weights while flying. We assume that he also manipulates gravitons for the object being lifted as well.

Super Speed

So is Thor going to compete with that?

All I can say is WOW! That’s too much dude!!!!!!!
It may seem Superman has a upper hand due to the fact that he has more powers than Thor, but Thor has taken himself out of sticky situations before
and I’m sure he will find a way to defeat Superman. He is after all stronger than Superman.

Hulk not combatant... he dont have techniques only raw power... in real battle you also need techniques to win the fight...

Hulk lost to Superman because Supes was voted more, just like the other DC vs Marvel crossovers.
Thor is god while Superman is an alien,so the saying goes like this:

god versus alien

So?Ryo that doesn’t matter if Superman is fighting aliens and Thor is fighting gods.Yes I admit Thor is better skilled in fighting than Superman but Superman himeself uses his own fighting skills to get the job done. The only thing Thor has over Superman is magic while Superman has super speed, heat vision and ice breath over Thor. And thats naming a few

Thor maybe at a disadvantage due to the fact he doesn’t have heat vision, super speed and ice breath. But he has that
powerfull hammer of his and he is more stronger than Superman.

Thor.
