When i misspell a word in the Firefox web browser, i select the word, a list of possible correctly spelled words pop up.

However, far too many times i have accidentally selected “Add To Dictionary” button.

I need to know how to get rid of those from my dictionary.

lol, nobody helped Nervin out?

Nerevar, you’ve two choices.

1. Uninstall Firefox then reinstall it.

2. go to My Computer, click local disc (C), program files, Mozilla Firefox, dictionaries, en-us and find and delete the words you added.

I recommend option 1.

Or alternately, as I just remembered...

You can simply reinstall the dictionary from here.

The dictionary is huge, and unfortunately it’s in a note pad document, which means no search function and you can barely find what you’re looking for. At best, removing 10 words could take an hour to do. Much longer than uninstalling and reinstalling your program.

sCid Mark,
Cut down on the cholesterol, buddy. That sh*t can give ya a heart attack someday. And get some practice w/a real girl for f*ck sakes. Your first real life encounter with Green Ninja is going to be a disaster I fear.

Actually I think if you hit ctrl and F a search box should come up. (I’ve done this with editing my stories in notepad before btw)
It may help. smiley if it works on your end.

(P.S. next time I think things like this should be moved to on-topic)
