Their reflexes are probably equal...but I think the fear guy can only have high reflexes for a limited time...but that might be gameplay element...so you’re not running around bullet time the whole game...but I think MC has this one...

I dunno, you never get to do the super slow-down thing at all in Halo, but supposedly Master Chief can in the books... I dunno...

In halo: the fall of reach, it gave a full readout of his various augmentations:

1. Carbide ceramic ossification: advanced material: special metal and ceramic layers, grafting onto skeletal structure to make bones virtually unbreakable.

2. Muscular enhancement injections: protein complex is injected intramuscularly to increase tissue density and decrease lactase recovery time.

3. Catalytic thyroid implant: platinum pellet containing human growth hormone catalyst is implanted in the thyroid to boost growth of skeletal and muscle tissues.

4. Occipital capillary reversal: submergence and boosted blood vessel flow beneath the rods and cones of subject’s retina. Produces a marked visual perception increase.

5. Superconducting fabrication of neural dendrites: alteration of bioelectrical nerve transduction to shielded electronic transduction. Three hundred percent increase in subject’s reflexes. Anecdotal evidence of marked increase in intelligence, memory, and creativity.

To make it more of a fair fight, I think master chief should go in standard military body armor instead of MJOLNIR.

In english, that means he has rock hard bones, thicker skin and muscles giving him enhanced strength and healing ability, night vision and longer sight range, and incredible reflexes like point man.

Besides his regenaritive tissues, MC in armor beats PM in armor since MC’s is more advanced, and has electrically recharging sheilds. PM needs health packs / medkits

yeh, the stuff that gives point man a chance at victory is the f — king huge guns he carries. still though- he gets shredded pretty easily.

Haha, yeah. The repeater cannon is awesome.

Too bad he can only carry 3...and too bad MC also has some big guns to match.

Agreed. I think we’re in need of some fresh blood in these forumns where we put MC up against other characters, though. It seems like the same ten ppl in almost all the vs topics. I’m going to venture on to some other forumns to try and bring some ppl back here; because this whole section has great potential considering the debates we all have so often.

And many of these could be played out more, like that one ten thousand page samus and MC thread.
